The world is full of FAIL. Although it’s always been that way, with technology a daily fact of life, you just happen to see more of this FAIL as it’s documented by smart phones, digital and video cameras and posted on the internet almost instantly.
FAIL shows it’s ugly head in all forms. Videos and photos of skateboarders, dare devils, dancers, stand up comedians, speakers, strippers, etc., litter the internet like the grounds of Lollapalooza after Ozzy headlines.
Model Fail is just one of the many types of FAIL available for your viewing pleasure on the internet. The modeling industry is millions of models strong. Each day hundreds of young women (and men) decide to try their luck in front of the camera and declare themselves a model. It’s not easy. The modeling industry is venomous, cruel and uncaring. You need looks, talent, connections and a lot of luck to succeed in this industry. Why do so many young people take the chance, when the working life of the average model is approximately six-eight months? Because the rewards of fame, fortune and world exposure make the risks of total failure worth it. Or do they?
Model Fail exists because there are hundreds of thousands of videos and photos on the internet. It’s an optimal niche for a website to run on, due to the vast amounts of content available. Model Fail isn’t nice, it isn’t fair and sometimes it may appear cruel. However, it is funny. Enjoy your FAIL.
